A hotel room inside a workspace

The 2025 set visit found a Miami hotel-room interior built inside a garage in Canoga Park, California. Art directors Kylie Ireland and Andy Appleton owned the space. Painted walls, curtains, a bed and other furniture made the working area into a location for Chechik’s film.

Changing the location

During the visit, the crew converted the room from Miami to New York in about thirty minutes. They changed the wall colour, curtains, bed and nightstands and placed a city view outside the window. Greenwood had adapted Maddy Burton’s original script to keep the story’s locations in the United States.

A day of dialogue

The reported day was devoted to dialogue. Chechik ran lines with Rocket while the next setup was prepared. Matt Holder worked as director of photography, David Lord as production manager and T. J. Westwood as boom operator. Chechik said Greenwood valued performers’ time and described a close crew that enjoyed working together.
