Adriana Chechik
Adriana Chechik as Alice in Dirty Game
A central character, a shifting mystery and carefully rebuilt locations shape Chechik’s return to a large ensemble feature.
Following the clues
Dirty Game follows Alice as a birthday surprise from her husband Thomas becomes a more unsettling adventure. Clues take the story from New York to Miami, while the intentions of the people around her become harder to read.
Chechik’s Alice is joined by Jane, played by Kylie Rocket. Their relationship develops within the mystery, making the part more than a series of disconnected appearances. Tommy Pistol’s Thomas gives the story its initial direction.
A role shaped by casting
Greenwood considered several performers for Alice before learning of Chechik’s return and sending her the script. She responded positively, and the film became her first ensemble acting project after the interruption to her studio career.
The supporting role also changed during development. Jane had originally been written as a man before Greenwood reworked the character for Rocket. That revision helped shape the relationship at the center of the completed story.
Building places for the camera
The on-set report describes a hotel-room set constructed inside a California workspace belonging to art directors Kylie Ireland and Andy Appleton. The crew transformed the room from a Miami setting into a New York one using paint, curtains, furniture and a view beyond the window.
A day devoted to dialogue gave Chechik and Rocket time to run lines while the production team prepared the next setup. This practical detail reveals the crafted environment around Alice’s journey: the locations seen on screen were assembled through design, performance and crew coordination.
